Change player direction arrow based on camera direction

I was hoping to have the minimap arrow point towords the way I am facing opposed to the direction I was walking in. Right now when I am harvesting or otherwise stopped it's harder to orient myself.

It might be possible for minimap to read the in-game compass?

Edit: The arrow points in the compass direction but only updates when the player moves. So changing camera direction while harvesting doesn't work but changing camera direction while moving does work.
