Can't create ejbca.sh service

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a strange behavior with the EJBCA CLI regarding services creation.

When I run:

./ejbca.sh service create --service MyServiceName

EJBCA immediately returns:

ERROR: Service exists already.

But the service name does not exist.

I tried to list all current services running on ejbca :

./ejbca.sh service list but there is not my new service name.

I tried with multiple different service names

I reproduced the exact same behavior on another machine (fresh environment), same result

I'm running on a debian server 11.7 and my app server is Wildfly 10.1.0 Final.

Is this a known CLI bug / syntax issue?
What is the correct way to create a new service from CLI without getting this false “already exists” error?

WildFly 10, then I guess you are running a really old version of EJBCA?

Yes it's EJBCA 7.9.0.2 community

Then I dare to say that this issue is fixed years ago if you upgrade. I just tried on the latest release and the command works fine.
