How to hide (not show / track updates) apps from Home / Installed

How can I 'blacklist' / hide certain apps not to be shown in installed / track updates shown in the Home > Installed view?

You can't really hide/block apps on the list. If you're seeking to not allow them to update, just disable updates for the respective app from its page

Disable = ignore?

If I ignore an app, are they still visible on the installed list view?

Reason for asking: there are apps listed that are installed through Play Store, not as apk's from GitHub etc.

Yup, I meant ignore updates, this doesn't hide the app from the list, but avoids it being auto-updated or being enlisted for updates. But also be aware to ignore all updates and not only the current one (if the two options are available)

A workaround could be to add apps you regularly want to use/update to the 'favorites' list that you can access instead of 'installed'.
