Error generated when running on Ubuntu 16.0.4.1

Trying to run a Operation Validation Test on a freshly installed Ubuntu 16.04.1 Server with Powershell version v6.0.0-alpha.14 installed using the instructions from here: https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell/blob/master/docs/installation/linux.md#ubuntu-1604
causes the following error:
ParameterValidationArgumentException: EmptyStringNotAllowed: New-OperationValidationResult

Raphael (@PowershellNinja) have you tried on the newest version of PowerShell that runs on Linux? The newest version is --> https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell/releases/tag/v6.0.0-beta.8
