[BUG]sensor.hotwater_state and entity: sensor.hotwater_boost no longer supported

I am running 2026.8.0

I have been using the following for some time but recently they have become unsupported ...
sensor.hotwater_state
and
entity: sensor.hotwater_boost
attribute: Boost ends in

Is this by design?

If Yes then is there an alternative way to access the boost time remaining?

If No then is there a fix being planned to make it available again?

They're now binary_sensor... entities. Not sure when they changed
