DRAM v2 requirement on Nextflow

I see that development has ceased on DRAM v1 as of about a year ago, and DRAM users are being nudged towards DRAM v2.

Looking at the docs, it appears that with DRAM v2, it is impossible to install/run DRAM without Nextflow. Is that right?
