Roadmap (umbrella): mode='full', router productionization, weights hardening, ProblemEnv abstraction #41

Why

For visitors who land from the AI Tinkerers newsletter, the difference between an "alpha-and-abandoned" project and an "alpha-and-actively-shaped" project is whether direction is public. This umbrella issue makes the near-term roadmap legible.

Each item below is a sub-issue stub; expand into its own issue when work begins.

Roadmap items

  • Enable `mode="full"` — currently disabled in the loop. Unblocking criteria: design for forward_backward when both prompt and weights co-evolve in one iteration. Tracking: TBD.
  • Productionize Router layer — currently experimental (CORAL research branch). Stable API + benchmark coverage + cost-aware decision logging. See `docs/research/2026-04-13-coral-router.md`.
  • Weights / SkyRL hardening — current dependency on SkyRL submodule + GPU is friction. Goal: clear "recipe" path + container image + integration test on a small GPU runner.
  • `ProblemEnv` abstraction — unify the heterogeneity of `MathEnvironment`, `HarborEnvironment`, `CarEnvironment`, `TaubenchEnvironment`, `EntropicEnvironment`, `EnterpriseOpsGymEnvironment` behind one interface. Reduces adapter friction for new benchmarks.

Why an umbrella?

Each item is multi-week scope. Tracking as sub-issues lets external readers see the direction without surface-area explosion. As work starts, we split off discrete tickets and link back here.
