powerbi selector / filter transform #1

Is there a way to integrate the plotly graphs to the powerBI data selectors (not sure what they are called, those drop-down filter selectors for the data) ? In the transform tab there was the filter option that sounded promising for this but I couldn't make it work and there was no documentation for this option.
I would like for the user in powerbi to have the ability to make a selection/filter of the data in order to analyze a subset of it and that this would automatically update the plotly graphs accordingly with no further input (i could implement the same selectors in plotly but it would be horrible and confusing to have 2 filters for the same thing)
