Using this to backup all photos

Hi All,
I have been using iCloud photos since pretty much when it came out. So apparently 30K photos.

I am going to run this in a Docker Container on my unRAID server
I just wanted to confirm as I'm a little nervous. There's not really any method this could just accidentally wipe my iCloud? Like I know accidents happen, but I just wanted to double-check :)

Also what is the method to make it run and just sync down photos in the background as they pop up in my library?

I'm going to close this as I ended up running the container and it did very well, quietly downloading my entire library and then checking every 24 hours for new files. So I will call that a win!
