swid and espn_s2 update?

Has anyone cracked this issue? swid and espn_s2. I am trying to make it user friendly for non tech people so I don't want them having to hunt for these. However the ESPN API seems to be more locked down so I can't get these.

Just wondering if anyone has a miracle solution?

Public leagues have no need for SWID or ESPN_S2 that other than transactions. Even some transactions are available if the league is public

I can validate that public leagues don't need SWID or ESPN_s2. However, it looks like ESPN may have shut down the API? Has anyone else gotten this to work recently?

I’ve been using it quite a bit this week without issue. Make sure your league is active for the year you’re pulling and you have the latest version of the library installed

I don't think the API is shut down, but I am experiencing issues with older data that began around February this year. I posted issue #650 and it seems like some others are having some issues as well.

I have had no issues using it in August 2025 -> September 2025. I notice things occasionally can change, but nothing drastic.
