Reset/Delete tracking on specified files

My constant and biggest problem with source tracking is that sometimes sf project retrieve start will bring up a whole load of org metadata that I don't want in repository and deleting those files will try to delete them in the next deployment and block the deployment as result (ex. by trying to delete standard fields).

Sometimes I can work this around by resetting all tracking, but sometimes that's not an option and I'm loosing track of what was done on org or locally.

Ability to reset or delete tracking for given path would be very helpful in those situations.
