Need V2 release with gengen feature

I see that the gengen feature was added to the main branch, but the latest release (v2.1.1) does not include this feature. Can we get a release published with this feature?

I've used the feature myself, but I'd like to get a bit more feedback its interface is frozen by making a tagged release.

Have you used it? Did it work? Was the interface acceptable?
