Migration from reCAPTCHA to Cloudflare Turnstile

I was notified by Google to migrate my reCAPTCHA account to Google Cloud project within three months.
With the current access volume of www.waifu2x.net it will cost ten times the server fee so I cannot continue to use reCAPTCHA.
So I plan to migrate reCAPTCHA on www.waifu2x.net to Cloudflare Turnstile, probably today.

The migration is now complete.

From the logs it can be seen that many users are receiving 401 verification errors.
The main reason is probably that they are submitting from old web pages or cached versions. If you get this error please reload the web page with Shift + F5 or CTRL + F5.

Another concern is cases where it is blocked by the Great Firewall of China or similar systems.

I'm using android phone and it always error on me, it doesn't happen with the old captcha. I used different browser still same

At which step does the error occur?

1. The Captcha UI does not appear.
2. The Captcha UI appears but the checkbox cannot be checked.
3. The checkbox can be checked, but submitting returns a server error (probably 401 Turnstile Error).

Does an error occur during automatic verification, or does it occur only when submitting afterward?

I fixed how the source IP address is handled in the server-side code. However, it might not be related to this issue.

I tried now w/o using vpn and it works, before when it errrors the widget auto reload and you can't manually check the box

Then maybe there was a problem with the mobile network at that time.
Good to know it's working now.

On my Android phone, the checkbox appears when connected to Wi-Fi, and automatic verification succeeds when connected to a mobile network.

Hi, i feel this was a very poor change as an avid user of palemoon, any alternatives?
Reasoning: Cloudflare uses hostile code to attack your browser as a means of mitigation. if your browser doesn't crash, you pass. This is a very unfriendly system and wastes user CPU.
I'm not alone when it comes to hating Cloudflare. it's slow and intensive. You might turn away users who don't want to put up with Cloudflare's bot challenge.

I also want like verify only once and not all the time you want enhance images, coz the verification is slow and time consuming

Didn't mind it much before when it was captcha, since it usually took about 5 seconds or so, but the nature of Cloudflare makes that a necessity now. Again, I have to stress that this issue also scales up with the age of the user's hardware, given their CPU, and even blocks out users based on what browser they use. I don't like services that force me to use browsers or machines I don't want to use nor purchase and I'm willing to bet a lot of other people feel that same way. I beg of you to consider an alternative on the behalf of everyone using anything that isn't considered mainstream hardware nor software.

The captcha itself is a countermeasure against continuous abuse from external software or services. To prevent such abuse it is necessary to put some stress on the usage.

As another method, logging in from Patreon allows skipping the captcha.

The number of skips is limited by the total payment amount. This is an alternative approach to prevent abuse through monetary cost.

Another method is https://unlimited.waifu2x.net/.
This uses the user computer resources instead of my computer resources. Therefore I do not need to prevent abuse and captcha is not necessary.
