Unfortunately after HAOS upgrade scheduler-card stopped to work:

"Could not connect with the scheduler component. It needs to be installed as integration before this card can be used."

This issue is similar to #642.

• upgraded scheduler-card to 4.0.8
• redownloaded component
• restarted HA
• upgraded HA to the newest version

scheduler itself is working, all entities (list) are visible, make their job (actions can be run). Editing schedule is not possible.

I've upgraded HA to the newest on other installation and scheduler-card is working.

I've upgraded HA to the newest on other installation and scheduler-card is working.

As you already indicated, it seems this is not a problem of scheduler-card, but related to your installation.

I suggest to check:

1. That the scheduler-component is indeed installed and running. Simple check is to go to developer tools -> states and looking for the switch.schedule_xxxxxx entities and checking they are not in unavailable state but have a next_trigger planned.
2. Go to your dashboard that contains the scheduler-card, follow the procedure here to check the card version (and possible errors in the console logs as well).

If both checks don't show up anything, I have no idea how to help. Maybe clearing your browser cache could help.

Look at PR: #1041

My issue is caused by an error in scheduler structure:

Something went wrong during HA upgrade and scheduler item looks broken. Because of that all scheduler-card didn't work.

After this change:

• all broken items will be ignored to not block others
• detailed log in case of error will be visible to manage issue.

This file contains broken scheduler.storage which causes:

• scheduler-card is completely unresponsive: it returns wrong error about connection
• using debug version (in PR) I've detected that one of entities is broken and causes problems
• I fixed broken entries using my PR in scheduler-component. This PR creates empty values for broken entity part and marks element as [BROKEN]
• I wasn't able to edit or remove broken entity using UI
• that's why I developed in scheduler-component method able to remove broken entity using Developer Tools/Actions
• after that all is working fine: database is not corrupted and UI is working.

After two PR's (one in scheduler-card and one in scheduler-component):

• database will be more responsive to be maintained
• UI will show good entities and appropriate logs to check if any element is broken.
• Otherwise "general fault" is present with wrong message, that there is a problem with connection to the component. But in fact there is connectivity, but script cannot parse entity.
• Stages: connection to component, parsing elements have now logs visible in console which provide appropriate tracking.
