Entity feild only searches by entity_id

Entity feild only searches by entity_id which can be a problem when naming devices with the new HA naming scheme.

For example I have a light that is light.second_floor_master_suite_master_hall_her_closet but the entity name is Mias Closet.

If you search for "her" the light will show up (see below)

If you search for "mia" nothing shows up (see below)

In the latest home assistant update Naming entities on your dashboard which led to the dilemma.

Is there a way we can have the standard home assistant entity picker (see below for how it looks) that would show the entity name and area its located in?

I actually just realized that it does search entity name but its case sensitive. Is there a way to change that? Also i still would love to see the area show up when searching.

Sorry, but the report is unclear to me.
The request is to make the entity search case insensitive?
