How to automatically attach current buffer on CodeCompanionChat

I just want current buffer always added when opening a chat

You know you only need to type #{buffer} to share the the current buffer in a chat, right?

Yeah, i know, but I type it 99% percent of time when I open it. Somehow if it was already there, it would be amazing

I see this kind of solves my issue, but then the buffer is not pinned, as in it doesn't automatically update in the chat if changes occur

It does. They're watched by default.

but if buffer is inserted via prompt library, when I checked it wasn't being watched. It is watched only if manually attached. Though I could be wrong

I solved this with an autocommand:

Oh that's super cool. Thanks for sharing @Hlanden. Have you tried it specifically with CodeCompanionChatCreated? Also, you could use chat.add_buf_message

I am not familiar CodeCompanionChatCreated 😅 This works (but a bit buggy) in the chat buffer. It is entirely vide-coded, I am no lua-expert...
