Serverless is a paradigm for enabling development teams to focus on delivering value without getting bogged down in implementation details. Kubernetes provides cross-platform infrastructure foundations to build a serverless environment, but is more of a "construction set" than a polished experience. Knative provides a serverless, event-driven runtime environment which runs on environments from your laptop or a Raspberry Pi to cloud providers or on-premises SDDC. Evan Anderson will provide an overview of the Knative components and tips on getting up and running with Knative as well as a tour of some of the more advanced features like traffic splitting and content-based routing.
