The new Android and Compose Desktop sidebars bypassed the inset-aware navigation content, so controls could overlap system bars or the desktop title bar.
Wide single-column layouts already expose secondary destinations in the fixed right sidebar. Keep the navigation rail collapsed there so expanding it cannot hide or duplicate that sidebar.
