Notes: There are many problems with the wording - see embedded FIXMEs. For example, parse this in [cpp.embed.gen]p12: "First, resource-offset calls to std::fgetc from the resource as a binary file have their result discarded and ignored."

So, first of all, the hyphenated names are that: hyphenated names. Please review the math rendering carefully; there is only one subtraction; the rest is hyphenated names. You might need to apply "\mathrm" or so liberally.

CWG discussed this (and the confusion potential) during review and decided to leave the hyphenated names as-is for now, and consider a change to single-letter "math" variables as an editorial improvement later. There was generally positive sentiment to do that, but at least one participant wanted to see the outcome before committing.
