Upgrade Notes
It is highly recommended you create a Journiv export before upgrading.
Markdown Support:
- This release introduces support for markdown with a dedicated toolbar. All entries created from v0.1.0-beta.9 and onwards are stored as
githubflavored markdown in the database. - All previous entries created before upgrading to v0.1.0-beta.9 are in plain-text and will continue to remain as such. You can edit existing entry and add Markdown styles to it.
Inline media
- This release introduces support for inline media allowing you to insert media (images and video) anywhere in the entry. All previous entries created before this release will remain as-is stored in plaintext without any inline media embed in them.
- You can edit an existing entry and Journiv will automatically put all your existing media attached to the entry at the bottom of the entry as Journiv's Markdown embed. You can move the media around as your wish in the entry.
