Summary

This PR adds a CLAUDE.md file to the repository to provide context for Claude and other AI coding assistants when working on the Plane documentation project.

What changed

  • Created CLAUDE.md with comprehensive project context including:
    • Project overview and tech stack
    • Essential pnpm commands
    • Development workflow and branch strategy
    • Content guidelines for Markdown files
    • Directory structure reference
    • Important constraints and best practices
    • Testing procedures

Why this change

The repository already has AGENTS.md (an open standard for AI agents), but was missing CLAUDE.md, which is specifically read by Claude Code and Claude-based tools. According to 2026 best practices, many projects include both files to ensure compatibility with different AI coding assistants.

Having both files ensures:

  • Claude-specific tools can access project context immediately
  • Consistent coding standards and conventions are followed
  • AI assistants understand the project structure and constraints
  • Development workflows are properly documented for automated tools
