OpenYak is a local-first AI agent workbench for desktop work — it runs on the user's own machine (no account needed), works with real office files (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, CSV), supports local models via Ollama and Rapid-MLX as well as BYOK cloud providers, and keeps all data and tool permissions on the user's device. The GAP files were proposed in openyak/openyak#137.
Files added:
agents/openyak__openyak/metadata.json— standard registry metadataagents/openyak__openyak/README.md— agent detail page content⭐ If GAP looks useful, the project lives at https://github.com/open-gitagent/opengap — a star helps more maintainers find the standard.
