The documentation mentions that you can pass a
refoption to theregister()function, but that does not appear to be true, based on the Typescript types. Upon further investigation, it appears that this used to be possible in v6, but this was changed in v7. (See this GitHub issue.)This pull request updates the documentation to remove this misleading information.
