More (than one) testers always helps. While easily replaceable as a WM/DE, some may rely on it more than others. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be much interest by the maintainer nor members, and there only seem to be a handful that do the merging (and review of hundreds of open PRs at a time)..

CI skips are for occasions when you know the tests will fail but the results won't be helpful for review (mainly because they will exceed the time allowance of several hours). We do not encourage trying to alter the normal process even if the tests seem redundant for non-invasive changes.
